We want to provide a memory for the Brazilian community, but also welcome and showcase Brazilian cuisine to Canada, and the other cultures present here.

All only using fresh, all-natural ingredients, The cook will spend time preparing the dough, cutting and cooking the most diverse and delicious fillings for our incredible pastéis, all fresh, all from scratch.

Our physical store will serve the pastéis, sugarcane juice and other snacks, as well as providing them through social networks, with home deliveries, and the option to bring home pastry dough that’ll allow you to make your pastéis at home, however and whenever you want.

About us and
our market

Gathered and decided to invest in a business, we wanted something nourishing, tasty, practical, local, unprocessed and affordable. So, we all agreed that this type of Brazilian food would be a good snack or meal option.

It was clear what needed to be done based on the lack of options in our community – we had to create our own business.

Gil Sobral, a Brazilian lawyer who decided to leave a consolidated career in the legal field in Brazil, to study and dedicate himself to Culinary Management at Fanshawe College, having had incredible experiences in restaurants in London ON until the decision to start his own business inspired by the street fairs in Brazil and also by his mother who always made delicious pastéis for the whole family. 

Walter Chiarato a professional Chef with passion for culinary arts, inspired by his grandmother’s kitchen and his godmother’s delicious creations, he has been a culinary fan since childhood. Since 2006, Walter has been actively working in the food industry, gaining experience in various venues and as private chef, individually he started his startup Restaurant last December 2022 calling it Supper Tasty and thus conquered many customers with his delicious products. 

From this junction, an idea arises to strengthen Brazilian food in Canada and thus, Love Pastel consolidates itself as Love Brazilian Food Beyond pastéis. 

Now, together, they want to share their passion and experience to create unforgettable culinary moments.
